During the opening ceremony Ed could not remember the name for florida water, holy water used by the shamans from Peru and other areas. Very funny clip!!

Here are some more individual sound clips from the Power of WOW group meeting at the GAIA spa in La Jolla CA on March 18th 2009. These are fascinating to listen to with headphones.

This  clip is the raw clip with no editing.  Some of the conversations were funny. Not everyone in our group was aware just how sensitive the microphone setup was.

Alternate sounds

Here is a short clip of one of the “alternate sounds” that were recorded. Depending on how hard you built up momentum with the wheel, a variety of different sounds were produced. In fact , there were even a variety of percussive sounds in the recordings which was an unexpected surprise.

Entrainment loop

This  sound loop is an example of when we were in “entrainment”. As the evening progressed there were more examples of this. However, we will have to practice recording without talking, as well as following each others rhythm to get a longer period of synchronization.

It is very clear to me by listening to the audio footage from our trial, that we can achieve a other amazing sound effects  if we all work the wheels in synchronicity with one another.

We Can Hear – Did the wheels speak?

The following clip is very interesting to listen to with headsets. There are times when you don’t know whether the wheels are talking or it is our group. At times it seemed like different people from the group may have whispered something, but it also seems as if the wheels answer back. Either way, this clip reminds me of all the whispers and voices in my head. These can be  like the winds. Sometimes calm, and sometimes like a hurricane. The microphone reminds me of that place inside all of us that knows, sees and records  everything that we do in this life – from that place of detachment and non judgment.

Calm down – is heard twice starting at about 29 seconds into the clip. Both times the wheels answer with a grunting sound.

These times that we are going through are actually an incredible opportunity. If you are feeling hopeless and sad, or angry, these are actually signals that the universe is telling you to examine something within so you can live a more peaceful life. The more intense these feelings, the more the universe is actually trying to help you come into a place of complete peace and joy. The bigger the crisis that you are going through, the BIGGER THE GIFT!

I know this first hand, because I went through what many people are going through now 10 years ago when I lost my life savings in the stock market. Eventually I lost my job, my marriage and had to sell me dream home. At one point for a period of years I was suicidal, and was in terrible pain. I have spent the last 10 years of my life examining the nature of why we suffer. I have come to the conclusion that whenever our belief systems are challenged, and these days we cant go a day without having some part of our belief system challenged, that we can either be rigid and “hold on the old ways” or we can learn to be fluid – like the wind, and actually learn to ride WITH the winds of the hurricane.

What we will be doing at Sacred Vision is the following:

1: Holding group and individual sessions, working with people who sincerely are ready to take responsibility for their own “inner economies”. I have learned that if we learn to shift our inner economies out of fear and lack, we can live an incredibly abundant peaceful joyful life no matter what I going on. For example, I have met with medicine people from South America who not so long ago, had never even had a concept of money as a means of exchange. From our perspective, they live in utter poverty, with little shelter and running water. Yet, these people are incredibly HAPPY and JOYFUL. Why is this?

2: We will facilitate these sessions with practical nuts and bolts exercises and experiments to raise our awareness of our bodies, our minds, our emotions, and even our luminous energetic nature.We will run experiential workshops in order to  rediscover our  luminous awareness. Some of the techniques that we will be exploring  date back tens of thousands of years.

My background is in Electrical Engineering. I have a deep unbiased scientific appreciation of energy. I also have an incredibly deep rich set of spiritual experiences that are out of the realm of ordinary thinking. I have taken the time to investigate the outer edges of my own belief systems and this has opened up a world of incredible richness for me that money simply could never buy. This is the time for science and spirituality to merge once again with great wisdom and understanding – leading to permanent peace and joy.

3: At Sacred Vision, we want to raise awareness of this metaphor of the hurricane and the winds. You see, most people , when they feel pain or any kind of disturbance, are riding somewhere on the eye wall of the hurricane AGAINST the winds. They are being blown around like a piece of plywood that got dislodged from a rooftop during the hurricane. Most people are not even aware that this is due to some limiting belief that may be in their subconscious mind, and most people tend to want to SHUT THE PAIN DOWN. This is what can lead to addiction, to overeating, to any behavior that we adopt in order to distract ourselves from REALITY.

But there is another way. You can learn to ride WITH the winds. You need to find someone to work with who has investigated their own beliefs enough to have this kind of model of the hurricane. So that he or she can hold space for you to transform yourself. So he or she will be able to have compassion and be like the eye of the hurricane, even while you are on the eye wall.

Eventually, you too can learn to be so fluid, that you can CHOOSE where you want to experience life. Then , if it serves you, you can ride AGAINST the wind consciously, or ride WITH the winds. You can even be in eye of the storm and WATCH EVERYTHING IN PEACE, and do BOTH at the same time! What an amazing journey life can be when you are in that state of being..

I wanted to share with you  some pictures and insight  from a project  that I have been working on.

The WOW Remembrance Wheels are a tool that  combines sound, movement , and awareness in order to gain a better understanding of who we are. These devices are a metaphor for fluidity. When we use the wheels either individually, in pairs, or in large groups, we can   “remember” things about ourselves. When we  remember things that lead us closer to an understanding of  “who we truly are” we call these “wow moments”. Fluidity is  also a very  important concept here – please read the article entitled like the wind. We are learning that the Wheels reflect back to us what is going on in our physical, emotional, and energetic bodies, so if we pay attention to these things, we can learn to be much more fluid , not only in the physical, but in life in general. This fluidity leads us to lasting peace and joy.

I was using a device similar to this a little over 5 years ago, and it unexpectedly became a catalyst for a series of Kundalini transpersonal experiences, which set me on the course of exploring the nature of reality,  and  why we suffer. The desire for a greater understanding brought me to South America to visit with incredibly loving and talented medicine people from various area of Peru,  to Guatemala to live with Rosa Maria, a Mayan elder and sacred time keeper,  and eventually to western India to visit the  Dada Bhagwan community.

The Original Energy Amplifier

This picture is of  the original remembrance wheel -  I used to call this an “energy amplifier”. It is a mechanical model that I made of a 3D geometric shape that I began to experience and “see” with my third eye about 6 years ago – during a period of explosive spiritual transformation.  Over time,   I became obsessed with what the meaning of this weird shape was that kept popping in my head, so I build a model of it. The original model made no sound.

This is a recent  version of one the remembrance wheels – Im looking for a new name. Energy Amplifier is too GEEKY !!  When you use it , it makes a very specific sound (like the wind talking and saying “WOW”)

When you use it in groups, it will create psycho acoustic sound effects that should be very interesting, and perhaps even healing.  I am not sure exactly what is going to happen in the groups – that is why we are  holding  field trials and making recordings.  This will  be a  lot of fun.

UPDATE: Listen to a clip of 2 “wows” in action. What would it sound like having 20 or perhaps 40 people using these at the same time?

One friend of mine says we should call it “The Wow”. Im thinking of running a contest to name it as a promotion.  Any ideas?

All the eggs and the wheels are hand painted, and it has taken me several months to create over 150  eggs for  75 remembrance wheels to start the field trials.  Most of the time I found myself painting  in ceremony and in a state of visualization. With each brush stroke I visualized  all beings free from suffering of any kind and in a state of permanent joy and peace.

It was very healing, I kept painting and visualizing every day.

I hope to begin leading group experiential workshops that are the integration of all of my journeys over the past 10 years.
I’m going to call these group workshops, ceremonies, sacred songs, and individual mentoring the “Power of Wow” series.
