What are the Remembrance Wheels?
Hi
I wanted to share with you some pictures and insight from a project that I have been working on.
The Remembrance Wheels are a tool that combines sound, movement , and awareness in order to gain a better understanding of who you are. We use the wheels either individually, in pairs, or in large groups. Here, if we are very present, we can “remember” ourselves as we dive deep into our own loving heart. The Remembrance Wheels reflect back to us what is going on in our physical, emotional, and energetic bodies. We can then use this understanding to help reprogram our limiting beliefs, integrate past traumas, and embody love more fully.
I was using a device similar to this a little over 7 years ago, and it unexpectedly became a catalyst for a series of Kundalini transpersonal experiences, which set me on the course of exploring the nature of reality, and why we suffer. The desire for a greater understanding brought me to South America to visit with incredibly loving and talented medicine people from various area of Peru, to Guatemala to live with Rosa Maria, a Mayan elder and sacred time keeper, and eventually to western India to visit the Dada Bhagwan community.

The Original Energy Amplifier
This picture is of the original remembrance wheel - I used to call this an “energy amplifier”. It is a mechanical model that I made of a 3D geometric shape that I began to experience and “see” with my third eye in 2003 – during a period of explosive spiritual transformation. Over time, I became obsessed with what the meaning of this weird shape was that kept popping in my head, so I build a model of it. The original model made no sound.
This is a recent version of one the remembrance wheels – When you use it , it makes a very specific sound.
When you use it in groups, it will create psycho acoustic sound effects that should be very interesting, and perhaps even healing.
Listen to a clip of 2 remembrance wheels in action. What would it sound like having 20 or perhaps 40 people using these at the same time?
One friend of mine says we should call it “The Wow”.
All the eggs and the wheels are hand painted, and it has taken me several months to create over 150 eggs for 75 remembrance wheels. Most of the time I found myself painting in ceremony and in a state of warm loving presence. With each brush stroke I visualized all beings free from suffering of any kind and in a state of permanent joy and peace.
It was very healing, I kept painting and visualizing and embodying love every day.
